4 years agoBoston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown scored 27 points and tied a career high with 13 rebounds to post a nice-looking double-double in Friday's win over Washington. He was perfect at the line with six attempts and shot 3-for-6 from behind the arc with a 9-for-19 overall record from the field. Brown also had five assists and two steals with five turnovers. He averaged fewer than five boards per game in the first eight games of the season, but back-to-back double-doubles have boosted Brown's rebounding numbers a lot. He looks set for a strong finish to the week when the C's host Miami on Sunday. The Heat haven't guarded shooting guards well this season and they also give up a lot of rebounds -- only four teams have produced a poorer rebounding rate so far.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
