4 years agoBoston Celtics small forward Jaylen Brown (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Suns due to a sore left knee. Grant Williams was elevated into the starting five Friday in Brown's absence and played a career-high 32 minutes, an indication of the role that he could play as long as Brown is out of the mix. With Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker already taking on an increased offensive workload without Marcus Smart (calf) on the court, the duo is likely to reprise a considerable usage rate with Brown sidelined. His next chance to suit up comes Tuesday against Utah.--Jesse Borek
