3 years agoBoston Celtics shooting guard/small forward Jaylen Brown (rest) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Jazz. Boston has remained steadfast in its attempt to ease Brown back into action after an eight-game absence during November, having recently handled his workload with a minutes restriction. Without him in the mix Friday, look for Josh Richardson, Dennis Schroder, and Marcus Smart to all take on second option scorer duties. One of the most dynamic scorers in the league when healthy, Brown has not reached the 20-point plateau since Nov. 3. His next chance to take the floor comes Saturday vs. Portland.--Jesse Borek
