3 years agoBoston Celtics shooting guard/small forward Jaylen Brown (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's matchup vs. the Mavericks due to a tight right hamstring. Brown was hampered by the issue Thursday, even as he logged his fifth game this season with at least three triples made. When Brown missed his first contest of the year on Oct. 24, Dennis Schroder stepped into the starting five, while Jayson Tatum took on an even larger offensive role. Brown has showcased his elite scoring ability (25.6 PPG) to kickoff the season, with his next chance at suiting up coming Wednesday against Toronto.--Jesse Borek
