Jaylen Brown Will Play Wednesday, Have Minutes Cap Raised
3 years agoBoston Celtics shooting guard/small forward Jaylen Brown has been cleared to play in Wednesday's game vs. Philadelphia, and he will also have his playing time ceiling raised to around the 32-minute mark. Brown entered play Wednesday averaging just a shade above 32 minutes per game for the season, so the move is essentially an indicator that head coach Ime Udoka feels more comfortable playing his star wing in longer stretches. While the 25-year-old averaged 22.4 points across his first 12 games, he reached the 20-point plateau when playing 32 minutes or fewer just once in that stretch, making him a risky DFS option, especially with Boston at full health.
