Jaylen Brown's First-Round DFS Preview
7 years agoBoston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown will carry a lot of responsibility during his second postseason campaign in the NBA, as the 21-year-old is expected to do some heavy lifting on offense. Kyrie Irving (knee) won't be there to carry the team and take big shots, so the team's youngsters will have to grow up real quick. Brown was the second-highest scoring Celtic during the regular season behind Irving with 14.5 points per game. However, he scored 17.2 points per game after Kyrie went down with a season-ending injury. Brown's usage rate has been on the way up ever since and he's averaged even 14 field goal attempts per game this month with a couple of really nice outings like a 27-point game on Tuesday against Washington and a 32-point effort on April 6 against Chicago. Milwaukee have been mediocre defensively against shooting guards this season, so Brown has a good matchup to get things going.
