5 years agoWith injuries tearing through the Minnesota roster, the rookie duo of Jaylen Nowell and Naz Reid combined to provide some offensive thump during Wednesday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. For Nowell, it was the best outing of his career to this point, dropping a career-high 12 points on 4-for-11 shooting in just 16 minutes. Reid, who has stepped up with Noah Vonleh sidelined in addition to Karl-Anthony Towns, took double-digit shot attempts for the second straight game and logged 11 points with two makes from long range. Both men should continue to see shots and minutes off the bench Thursday versus Golden State should Towns and Andrew Wiggins remain sidelined, making them appealing punt play options in DFS.--Jesse Borek
