Jayson Tatum Knocks Down Buzzer-Beater In Game 1
3 years agoBoston Celtics small/power forward Jayson Tatum found himself in the right place at the right time with time winding down Sunday vs. Brooklyn, as he snatched a pass from Marcus Smart and laid it in just prior to the final buzzer sounding. The layup gave Tatum 31 points, his fourth consecutive 30-plus-point playoff performance, all of which have come against the Nets. In addition to the scoring, Tatum dished out a team-high eight assists and added four rebounds and two blocks across a whopping 45-minute allotment. Tatum and Jaylen Brown will remain the team's offensive focal points throughout the series, giving them stable floors ahead of Game 2 on Wednesday.
