4 years agoBoston Celtics guard/forward Jayson Tatum stepped things up with Gordon Hayward (ankle) sidelined on Wednesday to score a team-high 33 points in the defeat over the 76ers. Tatum was efficient as he connected on 12 of 20 shooting from the floor and he added five rebounds with five assists, yet failed to add any defensive numbers to his line. Tatum started the game with picking up two quick fouls, but coach Stevens had faith in his young stud and let him play through it, which turned out to be a positive. With Hayward out for at least a month, Tatum is player you can work your lineups around, as long as his price tag doesn't get too inflated going forward.--Gianni Costantiello
