3 years agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum helped his team get in the win column for the first time this season and had himself a day in the process. With Jaylen Brown (knee) sidelined for Sunday's contest, Tatum came through for the men in green with 31 points, nine rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal. The two-time All-Star put up a team-high 24 shots and made 50 percent of them while going 4-for-11 behind the three-point line. The Celtics have dates with the Hornets and then a double dose of the Wizards this week. If Brown is forced to miss more time, Tatum will get all the shots he could want in this offense and still put up enough numbers to make up for a light, three-game week.--Euan Leith
