Jayson Tatum Set To Miss Time, Will Quarantine For 10-14 Days
4 years agoBoston Celtics small/power forward Jayson Tatum will enter quarantine and be forced to miss the next 10-14 days of action after testing positive for COVID-19. Stemming from the incident, Boston could be down as many as seven players when they next take the court Sunday. In his quarantine window, the Celtics are on track to play five to seven games, all of which they could be without Tatum and more, depending on the results of contact tracing. At 10.1 made field goals on a nightly basis, Tatum entered play Saturday tied for third in the league, all while dropping 26.9 points per game. It's unclear who will see the largest uptick in usage in Tatum's absence while the league determines who the team will have available moving forward.
