6 years agoWashington Wizards small/power forward Jeff Green will be able to suit up against the Detroit Pistons on Monday after having been tagged as questionable due to a hip ailment that kept him on the sidelines of his club’s most recent contest. Green has received some competition for playing time in the form of Jabari Parker and Bobby Portis since the duo’s acquisition, although it hasn’t affected his output yet. Green will jump back into the starting five, so owners may presume that he is a full go and can be safely rostered.--Jesse Borek

3 years agoDenver Nuggets forward Jeff Green is expected to pick up his $4.5 million player option for next season. The veteran forward did a decent job last season in Denver. He averaged 10.3 points and 3.1 rebounds through 75 games. Green filled in nicely with Michael Porter Jr. being sidelined for a majority of the season. However, Porter is expected to be healthy next season, so Green isn't likely to see the same amount of playing time. It's unlikely Green carries fantasy value unless he becomes a starter again.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

3 years agoDenver Nuggets power forward Jeff Green (personal) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Spurs. Green's absence marks his second in a row, paving the way for Austin Rivers to enter the starting five this go around. Both Rivers and Davon Reed figure to see increased DFS appeal due to elevated roles, although Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, and Will Barton remain the team's most intriguing fantasy assets without Green. The veteran enjoyed a solid March, having averaged 10.4 points on 55.6 percent shooting. His next chance to return to the floor comes Thursday vs. Memphis.--Jesse Borek

3 years agoDenver Nuggets forward Jeff Green (personal) will return for Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors. He's back in action here after missing Wednesday's contest due to personal reasons. Davon Reed should shift back to the second unit and won't have as significant of a role with Aaron Gordon (foot) active as well. Green isn't worth a look in most standard formats, but could be a possible deep league option for Thursday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

3 years agoDenver Nuggets forward Jeff Green (personal) and center Zeke Nnaji (knee) are listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors. The Nuggets could be short-handed here with Bones Hyland (knee) and Will Barton (ankle) questionable as well. Nnaji filled in for Green on Wednesday and played 20 minutes in that contest. However, Nnaji has been dealing with knee soreness, so the Nuggets could rest him on Thursday. JaMychal Green and DeMarcus Cousins could be busier than normal on Thursday. They might have low-end streaming appeal, but that depends on the status of these players.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
