6 years agoWashington Wizards small forward Jeff Green finished with 13 points and nine rebounds across 27 minutes off the bench in Friday's 116-112 loss against the Sacramento Kings. He also chipped in with three assists, a three-pointers and a blocked shot while hitting 5-for-8 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free-throw line. He was seeing plenty of playing time again with Otto Porter Jr. struggling with his shot. Green has hit double digits in points in four of his five contests, but this was his best shooting performance of the season. He is averaging 11.7 points and 6.0 rebounds over his past three outings. It looks like he'll continue to be a valuable contributor off the bench in D.C.--Daniel Dobish
