Jeff Green Helps To Sink His Former Team
6 years agoWashington Wizards small forward Jeff Green hit the game-clinching layup with just 42 seconds remaining in Friday's 95-91 victory against the Orlando Magic, his former team. He ended up with a season-high 24 points with six rebounds and three assists while going 9-for-16 from the field, including an impressive 6-for-9 from behind the three-point line. "He had his three game going tonight," Wizards head coach Scott Brooks said. "Jeff gave us some opportunities with shooting the 3s, spacing the floor. And if you don't guard him, he's great with the ball." He has come alive from behind the arc, hitting 25 triples in 11 games in January. If you need help in that category, Green is likely available in plenty of fantasy leagues.
