5 years agoHouston Rockets forward Jeff Green came off the bench in his first game for his new team and had an impressive debut in a 135-105 blowout win over the Golden State Warriors. In 24 minutes on Thursday evening, Green had 17 points on 6-for-7 shooting, four rebounds, and one steal. The 33-year old is a career 33.3 percent three-point shooter and went 4-for-5 from behind the arc to kick off the second half. He signed a 10-day contract with Houston after being bought out by Utah and will fit in nicely with the Rockets system if he can continue to make threes. Green will have an early chance at revenge in his next game when Houston visits Salt Lake City and the Utah Jazz on Saturday night.--Euan Leith
