4 years agoBrooklyn Nets power forward/center Jeff Green (shoulder) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Kings due to a shoulder contusion. The absence marks his first of the year, which makes it unclear how head coach Steve Nash may reallocate his minutes, but Nicolas Claxton and Noah Vonleh are candidates to see increased run. Green had started three of Brooklyn's previous four contests, but his limited scoring reliance makes him just a deep league season-long candidate. His next chance to get back in the mix comes Thursday versus Orlando.--Jesse Borek
