Jeff Green Ties Season High With 22 Points
6 years agoWashington Wizards small forward/power forward Jeff Green tied his season high with 22 points as he made seven of 13 shots from the field, including four of eight from beyond the arc, as well as all four of his free throws in Wednesday's victory over the Hawks. The four triples tied a season-best. It was the third straight game that he scored at least 10 points, grabbed six or more rebounds and doled out four assists. Green has played well over the last nine games, averaging 13.6 points along with 5.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists while shooting 45.1 percent from the floor and 34.1 percent from long distance. He has decent value and should continue to get 30 minutes of playing time with Markieff Morris (neck) out six more weeks.
