6 years agoWashington Wizards small/power forward Jeff Green will not compete in Saturday’s contest against the Brooklyn Nets due to a back injury. Green had been a game-time decision, before head coach Scott Brooks ultimately decided to hold him out, with Otto Porter returning to the mix as well. It will be the first absence of the season for Green, who’s next chance to suit up comes Monday against the New York Knicks.--Jesse Borek
