6 years agoIn his second game back from a 10-day stint on the Injured List, New York Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil (hamstring) went 3-for-5 with a run, batting in the leadoff spot. McNeil's strength is his batting average as he's hitting .337 on the year, but his xBA of .296 suggests that average may dip a bit going forward. He's also good at limiting strikeouts with an 11.3 % strikeout rate on the year and should score a good amount of runs as he appears pretty locked atop the Mets batting order. However, his lack of power makes him tough to start in most standard leagues. In deep leagues and NL-only leagues, he's a fine add if you can withstand the low power numbers.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
