6 years agoThe Minnesota Timberwolves will once again be without two of their point guards as Jeff Teague (ankle), and Derrick Rose (ankle) will sit out Monday's game against the Pelicans. Both players were initially listed as doubtful to play, so this decision comes as no surprise. This is the second straight game that Rose will miss while Teague will miss his eighth consecutive contest. However, both are expected to return soon, according to coach Tom Thibodeau. Tyus Jones will once again man the position with Jerryd Bayless and Josh Okogie likely to see more minutes than usual off the bench. Jones is averaging 7.3 points along with 5.5 assists and 3.8 rebounds in four starts this year.--Daniel Benjamin
