Jeff Teague Drops Team-High 27 Points In Win
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague appears back to form, having gone for 27 points and 12 assists across 38 minutes during Wednesday’s victory over the Houston Rockets. The scoring output matches his season high, which he recorded on Opening Night, Oct. 17. After an eight-game absence due to a foot injury, Teague’s performance in his three games prior to the All-Star break -- two of which were double-doubles -- bodes well for his outlook when the team gets back into action Feb. 22 against the New York Knicks. Teague is on pace to set a new career high with 8.1 assists per contest this season.
