5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague appeared comfortable playing his first game of 2019-20 without star Karl-Anthony Towns by his side, racking 13 assists across 28 minutes Saturday during his team’s win over Washington. In addition to Minnesota being 32 points better than the Wizards during Teague’s time on the floor, he also added 15 points, four rebounds and three steals to his excellent evening. With the victory comfortably in tow, Teague wasn’t needed for a full outing, although he’ll likely be in line for a full workload against Milwaukee, who limited him to 3-for-17 shooting over two games last season.--Jesse Borek
