6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague took on an increased offensive role during Sunday’s win over the New York Knicks without Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins around to benefit from his passing, leaving Teague to shoot 8-for-18 from the field, marking his highest shot total in 2018-19. He finished with 20 points, adding 10 assists, even with a completely new starting five around him. He’ll face a tough challenge Tuesday when he matches up with the Denver Nuggets, who have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this season.--Jesse Borek
