6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague was trending in the right direction, but he will in fact miss his eighth straight game Thursday versus the Orlando Magic due to left foot soreness. Teague had originally been ruled out Wednesday but had his status upgraded to questionable earlier in the day Thursday. After expressing some optimism, Minnesota will opt to hold him back, clearing the way for Jerryd Bayless to see a hefty minutes total at point guard with Isaiah Canaan backing him up. Teague’s next chance to take the floor comes Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans.--Jesse Borek
