6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague will make his return to the rotation for Friday’s contest versus the New Orleans Pelicans, having missed his team’s previous eight games due to left foot soreness. Teague’s return comes at a crucial time for the Timberwolves who are playing without Derrick Rose, Tyus Jones and Jerryd Bayless on Friday, with Isaiah Canaan forced into starting duty. It’s unclear how many minutes Teague will get, but season-long owners can at the very least revel in his return to action, as he is averaging a career-high 8.1 assists per game this season.--Jesse Borek
