6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague will be sidelined for his fifth straight game Thursday against the Charlotte Hornets due to left foot inflammation. Things aren’t trending in the right direction for Teague getting back on the court anytime soon, having been ruled out well in advance of 24 hours prior to tip-off. Teague is averaging a career-high 8.2 assists per game this season, but has been limited to just 42 outings due to a myriad of injuries. Tyus Jones figures to earn yet another start in place of Teague, whose next chance to suit up comes Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies.--Jesse Borek
