5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague will not be available to play in Wednesday’s contest against the Memphis Grizzlies due to illness. With backup point guard Shabazz Napier having been tagged as doubtful coming into the day, he has now gone through warm-ups in hope of avoiding the team needing to use a by committee approach that likely includes Andrew Wiggins and Jarrett Culver handling point duties. Teague’s absence will be his first of the season, with his next chance to suit up coming Friday against Golden State.--Jesse Borek
