6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder small forward/power forward Jerami Grant scored 16 points, hauled in four rebounds, blocked a shot and recorded three steals in Monday's victory over the Mavericks. The 24-year-old was 6-for-11 from the field, 1-for-4 from beyond the arc, and 3-for-3 from the free throw line. He has made at least 50 percent of his shots in nine straight games and scored in double-figures in each of his last 10 outings. The fifth-year pro has also put up some defensive numbers (steals and blocks) in seven games in a row. Overall, the former Syracuse Orange is averaging 13.4 points, along with six rebounds, 1.6 blocks and two steals while shooting 53.7 percent from the field over the last five contests. Grant will look to continue his strong play against the Lakers on Wednesday.--Daniel Benjamin
