6 years agoAtlanta Hawks reserve point guard Jeremy Lin (back) suffered a lower back injury with 1:42 remaining in the first quarter of Wednesday's game against the Wizards and will not return. While it's unclear the severity of the injury at this point in time, the injury is bad news for the Hawks, who were already without Taurean Prince (ankle). Lin was only able to play three minutes before exiting the game and finished 1-for-1 from the field and two points. Atlanta's next game isn't until Saturday against the Nuggets, and he should be considered questionable. If he is out for any amount of time, DeAndre' Bembry, Kevin Huerter and Justin Anderson should get a boost in minutes.--Daniel Benjamin
