6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Jerryd Bayless will miss Friday’s game versus the New Orleans Pelicans due to a sore right big toe that he picked up Thursday against Orlando. The injury forced him to exit early Thursday without collecting a point in his 27 minutes of action. Minnesota is drastically thin at the point guard spot Friday, although Jeff Teague’s return off the bench should prove to be vital. Isaiah Canaan will enter the starting five, although he’s a volatile DFS option with his minutes total up in the air. Bayless’ next chance to return comes Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers.--Jesse Borek
