3 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jesus Sanchez is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against right-hander Aaron Sanchez and the Washington Nationals. Bryan De La Cruz will be covering center field and batting seventh in the game. After a nice start to the year, Sanchez has gone ice cold at the plate in May. Over 13 games this month, he's slashing just .089/.146/.111 with one extra-base hit, a double. While his 114 mph max exit velocity ranks in the 95th percentile of the league, he has an average exit velocity of just 88.7 mph, ranking in the 43rd percentile and down from 90.2 mph last year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
