2 years agoThe New York Mets selected shortstop Jett Williams with the 14th overall pick in the 2022 MLB draft. Williams just wrapped up his senior year at Rockwall-Heath High School in Heath, Texas and he is committed to Mississippi State for college, though it remains to be seen as to whether he will choose to attend the school. As a senior last year, he hit .411 with seven home runs and 24 stolen bases. He stands 5'8" and weighs 175 pounds and he's known for his speed and quickness both on the base paths and in the field.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
