5 years agoJim Furyk will make his second straight Safeway Open appearance, coming off a solid T17 at last year’s event. Furyk failed to qualify for the FedEx Cup last season but ranked first in driving accuracy and greens-in-regulation percentage. We have seen some Furyk magic in the past with his record-breaking round of 58 at the 2016 Traveler’s Championship. However, he is now 50 years old and is tough to put in a lineup when there are younger, stronger and more athletic players in the field.--Connor Wege
