Jimmer Fredette Grabs Club-High Seven Boards In Team Debut
5 years agoGolden State Warriors point/shooting guard Jimmer Fredette made a strong first impression during Monday’s Summer League defeat to the Sacramento Kings. Fredette played 17 minutes off the bench, but totaled 14 points on 5-for-10 shooting, while snatching a team-best seven rebounds. Fredette returned to the NBA for a six-game stint with the Suns at the conclusion of last season, and with a strong showing this summer, could find himself with an NBA gig either with the Warriors or another squad. With Klay Thompson sidelined to open the upcoming year, Fredette’s long range prowess could help him secure a spot with the reigning five-time Western Conference champions.
