6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler exceeded the 20-point plateau for the fourth consecutive game during Wednesday’s win over the Boston Celtics. Butler put the game on ice with his game-clinching jumper in the waning seconds, striking a pose in addition to collecting four rebounds, two assists and three made triples. Butler’s output has remained steady, but at 20.2 points per game through nine March outings, his scoring is slightly trending upward. He gets a match-up with the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday, whom he dropped 30 points against on Jan. 11.--Jesse Borek
