6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler collected 25 points during Saturday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks, getting there primarily by going a perfect 13-for-13 from the free-throw stripe. He also added six rebounds, four assists and two steals across his 38 minutes, continuing his hot stretch of improved play. Butler has averaged 20.7 points per game in 10 March contests, his highest single month average since October. He’ll face the Orlando Magic on Monday, who boast a stingy defensive group versus wing scorers.--Jesse Borek
