Jimmy Butler Makes Eight of 10 Shots From Field In Victory Over Wolves
6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler scored 19 points on 8-for-10 shooting from the field and 3-for-4 from long distance in Tuesday's blowout victory over the Timberwolves. The 29-year-old added four assists, three rebounds, one block, two steals, and two turnovers in 28 minutes. He has played better since returning from a two-game absence (Jan. 8), although the game marked the first time he canned multiple three-pointers since Christmas Day. The eighth-year pro has scored in double-figures in five straight games, averaging 21.6 points along with 5.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.8 steals while shooting 54.9 percent from the field during this stretch. Butler totaled 20 points along with three rebounds, three assists and two steals in his lone outing against the Pacers, who the 76ers face on Thursday.
