6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler scored 16 points on 5-for-13 shooting, including 1-for-3 from beyond the arc, and 5-for-6 from the free throw line in Tuesday's victory over the Clippers. The 6-foot-8 wing also had six rebounds, four assists, and one block. He posted a game-high plus-14 rating, which was his fifth-highest of the season. The game marked the third time in the past seven outings that the 29-year-old has shot below 40 percent from the field. On the other hand, Butler has handed out at least four assists in five of his last six contests. The eighth-year pro will look to score in double-figures for the seventh time in the past nine games against the Suns on Wednesday. Butler had 16 points on 4-for-9 shooting from the floor to go along with three rebounds, one steal and two steals in the first matchup against Phoenix.
