3 years agoMiami Heat small forward Jimmy Butler (ankle) has been cleared to return for Tuesday's game against Toronto, stemming his absence at one game due to an ankle ailment. Butler will be looking to build off a season-high-tying 37-point effort from his last outing, a triple-double performance vs. the Raptors on Saturday. With Kyle Lowry (personal) still sidelined, Butler is likely to see elevated assists duties; he is coming off having averaged 7.6 dimes per game during 11 January contests, a season best. In addition to averaging 22 points (his highest mark since 2017-18), Butler would rank tied for second in the league in steals per contest (1.9) once he reaches the games played threshold.--Jesse Borek
