Jimmy Butler Ruled Out For Tuesday’s Contest
4 years agoMiami Heat shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler (ankle) has been ruled inactive for Tuesday's game versus the Bucks as he continues to battle an ankle injury. Butler did not play during the second half of the team's Christmas Day victory against New Orleans, and head coach Erik Spoelstra said Tuesday that Butler would be reevaluated "every day" moving forward. Tyler Herro can be expected to handle even more ball-handling duties in Butler's absence, while there should be more shots to go around for key rotation members such as Goran Dragic and Duncan Robinson. Butler's next chance to get back on the floor comes Wednesday against Milwaukee.
