Jimmy Butler Ruled Out Wednesday, May Miss More Time
3 years agoMiami Heat small forward Jimmy Butler (tailbone) has been deemed unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers due to a tailbone contusion. Butler's absence has now reached two games, and it may not be coming to an end soon. With the team set to head out on a back-to-back weekend road trip in Indiana and Milwaukee, Butler is anticipated to miss those games as well. Caleb Martin drew his first start of the year Monday and dropped 18 points across 33 minutes, but Max Strus could also see his minutes elevated as well. With Bam Adebayo (thumb) down for the foreseeable future, multiple members of the Heat will have a chance to take on significantly elevated offensive roles.
