Jimmy Butler Shows His Value In Game 1 Loss
6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler was one of the couple bright spots for his club in Game 1 versus the Nets on Saturday. Butler went off for a playoff career-high 36 points while connecting on 11-for-22 from the floor and 13 of 15 at the line. Butler did not stop there as he added nine rebounds, two steals, and two blocks and was a plus-11 on the night. Jimmy Buckets showed up Saturday and stepped up big time with Joel Embiid (knee) definitely not himself. He is worth a look in Game 2 while he looks to be in playoff mode for his young club and with Embiid hobbled.
