Jo Adell Still Sidelined Wednesday

2 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell (thumb) remains out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Seattle Mariners. Adell injured his thumb in Monday's game and was held out of the lineup on Tuesday, although he did hit two home runs while facing right-hander Michael Lorenzen in a simulated game. With an off day on Thursday, there's a good chance that the 23-year-old will return to action on Friday for the series opener against the Detroit Tigers. Steven Duggar is getting the start in left for the Halos on Wednesday and is hitting seventh against Mariners right-hander George Kirby. Duggar has played in only 28 games with the Angels, Texas Rangers and San Francisco Giants this year, and he's hitting only .159 (11-for-69) with no home runs, four RBI and five stolen bases.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
