Joaquin Niemann Flying Under The Radar
2 years agoJoaquin Niemann has not teed it up since The Open Championship, where he finished in 53rd place. Niemann has been playing some good golf lately, making the cut in nine of his last 10 starts. During that stretch, he has posted three top-20 finishes, including a third-place finish at The Memorial. Niemann has a lot of strengths, his best being his ability off the tee. He ranks 15th in strokes gained off the tee on the PGA Tour this year, proving he is one of the best drivers of the golf ball in the world. Given his recent form, one would think he would be a popular pick to contend this week, but there has been little chatter surrounding him. In DFS, he is reasonably priced and isn't attracting a lot of ownership. Niemann is a very good DFS play and could be a great leverage play in the middle tier. He also is worth backing on the outright market.
