4 years agoJoaquin Niemann will make his third straight appearance this week at El Camaleon, where he has struggled in his first two starts. He finished 60th in 2019 and missed the cut last season. This year may be a bit different, though, as Niemann has been playing solid golf this season. Niemann has been accurate with his approach shots, hitting over 71 percent of greens in regulation. He is also converting birdies at a rate of over 36 percent, which ranks 30th on the Tour. Statistics point to Niemann having a solid performance this week, but his past performances at Mayakoba raise some concern.--Connor Wege
