4 years agoRegarding pitcher Shohei Ohtani (forearm), Los Angeles Angels manager Joe Maddon said "I’m not anticipating him pitching at all this year." It was announced yesterday that Ohtani wasn't expected to start a throwing program for at least four-to-six weeks due to his grade 1-2 flexor strain. Now, Maddon has given us some more unfortunate clarity in the matter and fantasy owners should expect to see Ohtani exclusively as a hitter for the rest of 2020. He can be dropped in most standard fantasy leagues as his hitting alone isn't enough to justify rostering him.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
