5 years agoIt was far from the dominant performance that many fantasy owners are accustomed to, but Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid notched a double-double during Monday’s win over the Utah Jazz. Foul trouble limited him to just 30 minutes in his titanic battle with Jazz center Rudy Gobert, but Embiid came away with 16 points and 11 rebounds to his credit, giving him four consecutive double-doubles and nine games in a row with double-digit rebound totals. He shot just 5-for-13 from the floor, although he did add in four assists. On the horizon is a matchup versus Washington on Thursday, who entered play Monday yielding the most DFS points per game to opposing centers this season, making Embiid a highly targeted commodity ahead of his next outing.--Jesse Borek
