6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid dominated the Toronto Raptors during Tuesday’s loss, finishing with 37 points and 13 rebounds in 42 minutes of action. Embiid could do no wrong, knocking down three triples, going 14-for-15 from the free-throw line and swatting three shots. The Sixers’ MVP candidate has now finished with 20 points or more in 19 consecutive contests, well past any concerns there may have been earlier in the year about his ability to space the floor alongside Jimmy Butler. Embiid’s tour of domination makes its next stop against Denver on Friday night.--Jesse Borek
