6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid put up staggering numbers Friday against the Indiana Pacers, finishing with 40 points and a career-high 21 rebounds. The performance marks Embiid’s third 40-point game of the season, with most of the heavy lifting coming during the first half. With Jimmy Butler out of the lineup the past two games, Embiid has absorbed his shots and gone for dominating offensive performances. How this changes when Butler returns remains to be seen, but owners can revel in the dominance Embiid brings to the floor in every contest, as evidenced by his first 40-20 game Friday.--Jesse Borek
