4 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid scored a game-high 35 points in Tuesday's win over the Celtics. Embiid added six rebounds, one assist, one three-pointer, and a block in 33 minutes. The superstar big man shot 9-for-19 from the field and made 16 of 20 free throws, the 19th time that he's registered 10 or more makes at the line this season. Embiid has been a tad inefficient since returning from injury, though that's to be expected after nearly a month on the sidelines. He'll get a Friday matchup against the Pelicans next. They've been a middle-of-the-road matchup for centers this season, so Embiid should be able to have a solid game.--Tim Capurso
